My 6 yo loves this chair...the foot rest comes up when you push back on the back part of chair-it pretty much stays in the footrestup position all the time and she just hops in and out of it while watching TV-best purchase I've made in a while-very sturdy.

The chair is pretty decent for the price. Our daughter is tall for her age - almost 3, and this chair will last her a couple of years from a size perspective.
Quality is decent and it is Tinkerbell which was a big hit - our daughter is happy overall with the chair. She is small enough that we have to recline it for her. If we had paid the full price rather than the steeply discounted price we would be less satisfied - for $50 you cant find much better for kids. The price is $90 bucks now and I WOULD NOT pay that much for this chair.

NOTE: You have to screw the legs on yourself.
