This is a nice mount for the phone. It holds the phone securely but you have to remove it from any shell you have it in. The accompanying software downloaded froth Android market only does.one useful thing in my mind...transfer sound from the phone to a line out connection. The software is mostly useless with no way to customize the icons that it shows. I get it that you're to be driving, not tinkering with your gear. But it would be nice to have options.

Good points, bad points. Sticks to the windshield well but the sucker is BIG and tale up a lot of room. It's nice but it's big and it works well. Charging USB connection is in the back of the mouth, might have been better on the side or bottom. Another strange thing is that when the Infuse is in the mount and charging, the screen stays on. Don't know if that's the phone or the mount though.
Overall, it's fine. Small points like size and location of charging cable connection aren't all that big a deal but they are something to consider.

Just bought this vehicle mount and have little complaints. One aspect I found to be nice was the USB plug-in for the mount has a USB charge and headphone jack output, located to the rear and same side of the mount (the black box area on the left side of the phone in the main picture). This makes cable management fairly easy to incorporate the samsung's media player and navigation into the car stereo. The app that automatically loads is simple enough to minimize hazards while selecting most commonly used apps (phone, media player, navigation, maps, etc). And if needed, you can exit out of this app while still mounted in the car to access the full features.
I will say that if you do exit out of the car app, the audio output switches to the phone's speaker. What I mean by this is since the mount channels audio through the USB out and splits it off into a headphone out, the phone's actual headphone port is not used. So when you are not in the car mount app, the audio cable would need to be switched to the phone's headphone port instead of the mount's headphone jack. Not that big of an issue, but there may be certain actions you want to use the phone for while in the mount which need audio but are not listed on the car app's screen.
As far as build quality, I have never had the suction cup come off due to heat, like my Garmin's did. However, I feel the build of the unit itself isn't quite as rigid, and can flex some, or vibrate on rougher road.
overall, good mount, however. Just make sure your charger can keep up with the screen being on constantly!
